Scavenger Hunt Catch Up- The Winter Storm

Happy Sunday!

It's the start of a new week. Last week was a bit of a whirlwind for me!

The new book I co-authored with Katherine Deane and Renee Rose got released.

Well, and really, that was the cause of my whirlwind. The blog posts, posting about the release, getting together this scavenger hunt, biting my nails waiting for feedback for readers... everything else sort of fell by the wayside.

Who knew putting a book out was so all consuming?? This is my third and I forget every time!

Winter Storm Scavenger Hunt- Saturday Spankings, Hatching a Plan

Today is also a Saturday Spankings post. And while I have followed the rules, my snippet isn't quite about a spanking. Although, these three ladies trying to form a plan could get all of them into hot water.

Here we find Redd, Coral, and Faye trying to figure out how to down an evil Sea Witch. Personally, these are some of my favorite scenes from our book. This is where our story lines really intertwine, our characters are working together, and some unlikely friendships and sisterhoods are formed.

I'll just say that last part might make me a little sentimental. Art imitating life and all that. I was honored to write a book with my two friends, we have formed our own little sisterhood and I hope readers enjoy our book as much as we enjoyed writing it.

"Jake doesn't want me fighting her, he's insisting on going alone. And Mr. Wolfe's going to hit the roof if you go without asking him first." Coral turned and looked at Faye, "What would Cade have to say about this?"

"I'm not really sure, I don't even know what we're doing," Faye looked quizzically between the two women.

"We're going to kick some sea witch butt!" Redd said as she jumped in the air.

"Is she always like this?" Faye asked Coral.

"No, just when she's gearing up for a battle; or when she's gearing down from battle; or on days that end in 'y'" Coral joked.

Redd punched her in the arm and she laughingly apologized.

Saturday Spankings- Girls Who Lie

Welcome back to another edition of Saturday Spankings!

I'm continuing a little further on in my scene from last week. This is from the new soon-to-be-released book Ever Afters: The Winter Storm co-authored by Katherine Deane, Renee Rose, and myself.

We're back to my characters Jake and Coral who are having a little heart to heart down in the dungeon of the Spa "NK" Fantasy Fetish Lodge.

Jake has just asked Coral if she wants to play a game and she is getting all the details before they start:

"I'm going to ask you some questions. Answer them as honestly as you can; you're honesty will be rewarded."

"And if I'm not honest?"

"No rewards for dishonest girls." He gave her a teasing smile as the color rose in her cheeks. He leaned in and whispered, "Girls who lie get punished."

She swallowed and sucked in a deep breath. He was making her uneasy and turning her on at the same time.

Saturday Spankings- Implements and Fairy Tales

Hi, welcome back to Saturday Spankings! I am picking up in the next scene of Jake and Coral's story in Ever Afters: The Winter Storm, the soon to be released co-authored book by me, Katherine Deane and Renee Rose!

Coral has just escorted Jake down to the BDSM dungeon in the lodge. He sees an armoire in the corner and asks Coral what's inside.

“What's in there?” Jake asked.

There was hope for him yet.

“Implements!” Coral couldn't keep the excitement from her voice and he chuckled at her response.

“Have you tried all of these out?”

“No, not all of them,” she answered honestly. There were a couple of heavy wooden paddles in there that scared her more than turned her on.

Jake reached up and ran his hand down the length of a leather riding crop. She felt her core clench with desire.

Fairy Tale Spanks

I've been a Sat Spanks no show for a while. I just don't write as quickly as my peers! I've had nothing to share.

Until now :)

I co-authored a book with some fine ladies and some good friends: Katherine Deane and Renee Rose.

It's called Ever Afters: The Winter Storm

We are all really excited about it and now you get to have a little sneak preview snippet. 

We all took our own take on a fairy tale/ fairy tale characters. This is a little bit of what it's about, we don't have a blurb yet:

Welcome to New Kristiandom, a world filled with fantasy and paranormal. A world where old fashioned meets contemporary, where fairy tales and real life collide. Where truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.  Where romance and fetish are the norm and everyone gets a “Happily Ever After”.

This is the first story of the characters who shape this world. These are the ‘Ever Afters’.

In this snippet, my main character Coral has just been scolded by her boss, Mr. Wolfe, for being out in a blizzard. He also introduces her to Jake Hill, a guest who is waiting out the blizzard at the lodge.

Both men stood assessing her now, but she still couldn't get her voice to obey. She gave another affirmative nod. Jake let out a deep chuckle and Mr. Wolfe narrowed his eyes at her before he turned on his heel and walked away muttering something about stubborn women and people falling down hills. Jake winked at her, then turned and followed Mr. Wolfe down the long corridor.

Coral heaved a sigh of relief. She had been prepared for another lecture, and although Mr. Wolfe ran his lodge with a heavy hand he had never threatened to spank her before. The thought of it made her belly flip. And who was this beautiful stranger who had taken up temporary residence?
