Alexis Alvarez Visits with a Striptease!

Alexis Alvarez is here today sharing a snippet from her brand new release Dream Girl. If you haven't read anything by Alexis yet, she writes romance with humor. I am looking forward to this one about a reality TV show romance. Here's Alexis!

Thanks for having me! I’d like to share a snippet from my newly released romance novel, Dream Girl.  It’s my own version of The Bachelor…done the way I want to see it, of course, with a perfectly sexy and dominant hero, and the sassy, smart woman who will steal his heart.

Blurb for Dream Girl:
He’s sexy and intelligent, handsome and witty… and Chloe’s body lights up with sparks at his touch. And when he looks into her eyes and whispers naughty sexy things into her ear, she wants to melt into him and enjoy the mind-blowing passion he promises.
Too bad he’s the star of the popular reality show Dream Girls, and he’s also dating nineteen other girls in addition to Chloe — girls who are sexy and so talented that their Nobel Prizes should arrive any day now. Chloe’s sure he’s just amusing himself with her, and there is no way he’d pick her as his final Dream Girl — especially since she gets into so many crazy scrapes on the show.
She promised herself she was only doing this for adventure, travel, and new experiences…not to make a fool of herself on national TV. But he’s so sexy and persuasive! Would it be so bad to say yes to all of his dark, dirty requests? And most important of all — what will happen if she risks her heart?

Dominic is usually the dominant one in their interchanges, but in this excerpt, Chloe switches things up.

Excerpt from Dream Girl:
Chloe paused to smile at Dominic’s intense gaze. “Are you going to watch me change?”

“Can I?” His voice was low and rough, surprised.

“Sure. Look but don’t touch. That’s for later.” Chloe smiled.

“Okay.” He swallowed and took a breath. “I’ve imagined this a million times in my head, watching you strip. Seeing you naked.”

“Put your hands behind your head,” ordered Chloe. “Then I’ll let you see.”

Dominic’s eyes locked onto hers, and he raised his arms and deliberately laced his fingers behind his head.

Chloe nodded. “Pay attention, now.” She smiled and turned her back to him, then shot a look back over her shoulder. “Are you comfortable?”

He shifted on the edge of the bed, his legs wider. “No.”

She giggled. “Good.” She slid the yoga pants down her hips and stepped out of them, then pulled the tank top over her head. She cupped her breasts in her hands, then turned around.

“Look, I’m totally naked right now, Dominic.” Her voice was husky and bold. She squeezed her nipples. “When getting dressed, it’s important for a girl to make sure her nipples are nice and hard. That way, her breasts fit better into her bra.”

He sucked in his breath hard and tapped one foot. “Chloe.”

“Yes?” She raised one eyebrow.

She sashayed over to her suitcase and bent over, making sure to do it in a very provocative way. For some reason, she felt no shame, no embarrassment being naked in front of him, displaying herself like this. The fire in his eyes and the way he touched her let her know that he did find her sexy and exciting, he wanted her badly—he found her beautiful. And so she felt that way, too. It was remarkably freeing, and for the first time she felt utterly confident in her own skin, aware of her power as a woman. And okay, maybe she wanted to make him wild, make him burn, make him suffer… like she’d been suffering the past few weeks.

Dominic made a groan in his throat. “Keep those hands behind your head,” she reminded him lightly.

She came closer, until she was only a foot away from him, and held the fabric against her body. “See how nicely the bra holds my breasts?” she asked him, reaching back to do the clasps. “It’s not as nice as your warm hands, but a girl has to work with what she’s got, you know.”

He blinked and swallowed again, his eyes burning at her. “You’re driving me insane here, Trip.”

“Good.” She couldn’t hold back a note of satisfaction. “You’ve been driving me crazy, too, Tools. Watching you with other girls is torture.”

She grabbed a pair of panties from the suitcase and wiggled them up. Then she sat down on his lap, facing him, straddling his legs, and put her hands on his waist. “You know that? Seeing you kiss those girls at the beach? Seeing you kiss Britt at the vineyard? It was like a knife in my heart,” she whispered, dropping a kiss on his neck.

Dream Girl is a light-hearted, fun romance with steamy sex, laugh-out-loud humor, and an HEA.  It releases September 1st on Amazon and will be in the Kindle Unlimited program.

Thanks for having me, and I hope you enjoyed the excerpt!

A to Z Challenge~ Tiffs, Teasing and Threats

We're coming up to the end of the Spanking from A-Z blog challenge, hosted by Celeste Jones and Spanking Romance Reviews.

Up to T today and I am talking about teasing and threats.  We don't do serious very well in the McKay house. Actually, I think both of us have an inability to be completely serious for any length of time.

Sometimes not being able to be serious has it's advantages. We don't really argue. We get into tiffs, stupid things that children would fight about. Lately, it's had to do with my injury. I try to do more than I can do and I get snippy when I get frustrated or feel like I'm being doted on or smothered.

We were having a back and forth and I was being snappish. Mr. McKay was bringing me my coffee and we were getting to a real boiling point. Then he put the mug down in front of me, raised his eyebrows and said, "Maybe next time I'll pee in your coffee."

I burst out laughing. Who says that to someone? I asked him if he was a child, and he said probably. But really he was just diffusing the situation. We moved on and everything was fine.

So it is nice sometimes to not take everything so seriously. Other times it works against us. Mr. McKay actually sent me the following cartoon because this probably does sum up our bedroom antics. It's why there is normally copious amounts of liquor and not much talking during sexy time.

Teasing is a big part of our relationship too. Mostly because I will believe anything and I take everything to heart. Mr. McKay loves getting a rise out of me and I do love it, even if I like to spin off in a huff when he's relentlessly teasing.

I think threats go hand in hand with teasing. Any spanko worth their salt likes a good threat. I mean, at least for me, it's connected to all of it. So when Mr. McKay says anything like "You better watch yourself," or "You're not going to like the spanking you get." I am all a flutter, but then he follows it up with, "It's going to be so weak, and not hard. You'll hate it." And there goes that teasing and I am caught between laughing and getting into a snit because he totally just wrecked my mojo.

My ankle needs to heal and quick. I've been threatened so many times with weak spankings and no spanking at all that I'm ready to cry.

Thankfully, I do think he's teasing and isn't really serious. I think...
