A to Z Challenge~ "You Will Live Alone No Longer."

We've made it all the way to Y in the Spanking from A-Z blog challenge, hosted by Celeste Jones and Spanking Romance Reviews.

I have Sue Lyndon over today. I have never read anything by Sue that I have not loved, she has a way with writing stories that makes you feel like you are right there. Even when they are about Yummy Aliens!

She has a new series out right now and has just released a box set, so you can scoop then all up at once!

Thanks for having me today, Casey! It’s always a pleasure to visit you!

Y is for Yummy Aliens

I’ve been writing “vanilla” sci-fi alien romance under the name Sue Mercury during the last few months, and I recently released a box set with all the stories in my Reestrian Mates series. My favorite part about writing hunky alien heroes is the clash of cultures that inevitably occurs as they try to win a human female’s affection. Here’s an excerpt from book 5 in the series, Savage Alien:

“I see the passion in your eyes, little Mia.”
“Little Mia? I’m five foot six, for your information. That’s average height for a woman where I come from. Not that you’d know that. I doubt you know much about humans, and you certainly know nothing about me.”
“You are angry.” Confusion swept through him. Females captured as mating gifts were usually highly sought after beauties from powerful clan families on Reestria. She should be honored to have been taken by Heega. “You are not supposed to be angry, little Mia. You are supposed to be overjoyed to have been chosen for the honor of mating with a Warrior Reestrian.”
She laughed, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes. She was right, he didn’t know much about humans. He stepped closer to her, only for her to back away. Her behavior confounded him.
“Overjoyed? Are you for real? I was kidnapped and told I’m to become some strange alien’s mate. What part of that scenario is supposed to leave me overjoyed?” Her hands curled into fists and she peered around him, her face lighting up as she stared out the small window, a perfect view of Rahatha’s streets below the landing site. “Let me walk off this ship right now. Please.”
“I can’t allow that. You belong to me now, Mia. If your family didn’t wish for you to be taken as a mate, they should have protected you.” He suspected her family didn’t care for her wellbeing, otherwise the males, her father and her brothers, would have kept her hidden. This thought saddened him.
“My family?” She made an exacerbated noise. “I live by myself. I’m a grown woman. I’m thirty years old and I’ve been living on my own for the last twelve years, thank you very much.”
“You will live alone no longer.” He closed the space between them and cupped her face. She flinched but didn’t pull away, and he stroked her cheeks with his thumbs, drawing circles on her soft, warm flesh.
“Please, Sekor. I am afraid of you.”
He dropped his hands to his sides and took three large steps back. The look of relief on her face to have him so far away perplexed him. Why did she fear him? He planned to protect her and love her.
“Does your heart belong to another, Mia?”
“N-no.”
“Then why haven’t you taken your robe off and offered yourself to me?”
She tied the robe tighter and crossed her arms, preventing him from staring at the mounds of her breasts. “Unbelievable,” she muttered. “Do you really expect me to strip naked and fall at your feet? Keep dreamin’, asshole, because that will never happen. I want to leave this ship. Now.”
Nothing fazed Sekor, ever. Not until Mia. He was normally confident, so confident he felt no fear in battle, and so confident he had never considered a female might reject him. When he imagined experiencing his mating urge, he had always assumed the female he selected would try her best to please him. The female standing before him wouldn’t even take her clothes off. This human girl affected him, her rejection wounding him and her bravery garnering his deep respect.
He decided to continue on. He needed to mate her soon, needed his fever to cool and to feel the spiritual ecstasy of the mating bond. Clearing his throat, he reached for his towel.
“Would you feel more comfortable if I stripped first?”

A Real Woodshed and A Forest Full of Switches~ Sue Lyndon's Her Old-Fashioned Doctor

I am thrilled to have Sue Lyndon over today with an excerpt from her new book Her Old-Fashioned Doctor which is available in the medical play boxed set What the Doctor Ordered.
I was reading books by Sue Lyndon before I ever dipped my toe in the author waters, so you can imagine my excitement to be featured in the same boxed set as her. There is a reason I am a fan of Sue Lyndon's writing- it's hot! Okay, there is more than one reason: she does write hot stuff, also her characters always seem real. Even if her book is set in the future or in the old west she writes about her characters in a way that you would not be surprised to walk out your front door and find them arguing in your driveway.
In her new book, John (the old-fashioned doctor) has just met Melissa, a pretty, rich girl on a road trip after she leaves her cheating fiance. In this scene he's trying to convince her to stay at his cabin longer- not many women would be swayed by the fact that he owns a woodshed... but I think Melissa is a girl after my own heart!

“I wish I had the whole day off so I could drive you all over, Melissa,” he said once they were back on the road.
“Yeah, me too,” she said. “I enjoyed meeting you and I appreciate all your help. Letting me crash at your place was really nice. And I’m thrilled that you didn’t turn out to be an ax murderer.”
His deep, smooth chuckle drew her in, and she couldn’t resist scooting closer to him as the truck hugged a sharp turn. Her fingers brushed against his thigh briefly, and electricity zipped through her arm and pierced straight to her inner core, inciting a throb between her legs. Her eyes went wide. She’d never wanted a man so badly before.
“I’m glad you didn’t drive off last night, Melissa. I liked spending time with you too.” He glanced at her, a conspiratorial gleam in his gaze. “You know, I have the entire weekend off. If you stayed a little longer, I could drive you farther up the mountains and deeper into the country for some even better pictures.”
Her heart thudded. “Really?”
“Really. And since we’ve already established that I’m not an ax murderer, there’s no reason for you to decline my invitation. In fact, you can stay longer than the weekend if you want.” The cabin came into sight and he drove down the long driveway. He parked his truck next to her car and shut off the engine, and the sudden silence heightened the air of tension in the cab.
“You really wouldn’t mind my staying a few days, even a week longer?” She’d said ‘week’ to test the waters. Pleasure filled his gaze and the hungry look in his eyes became ravenous. She tried to swallow but somehow couldn’t even manage that action, she was so entranced by his stare.
“I really wouldn’t mind, so long as you’re a good girl,” he said teasingly.
She crossed her arms over her chest and arched an eyebrow. “So, um, if I’m not a good girl, what happens then? Will I be taken out back to the woodshed?” Her face flamed at her own words, but she couldn’t resist the tease.
“You can bet your pretty little bottom you will,” he replied smoothly, his eyes darkening to almost black.
“Uh, you really have a woodshed?”
“I do, and I also have a forest full of trees with slim branches perfect for cutting switches.”
“Well then, I shall endeavor to be on my best behavior.”

He encroached on her space, looming over her in the cab. She didn’t retreat, but she did squirm under his gaze. He reached out and tipped her chin up. “And I shall endeavor to keep a very close eye on you, little girl.”

Blurb:
Featuring five brand-new books by five excellent authors, What the Doctor Ordered contains over five-hundred Kindle pages worth of hot doctors, naughty patients, thorough examinations, and sound spankings. This collection includes:

The Doctor and the Naughty Girl, by Trent Evans
Dr. Dane McKendrick is tired of his twenty-four-year-old receptionist, Amity Derrington, failing to take her job seriously. Amity is beautiful and smart, but the rich, spoiled girl clearly needs a firm hand, and when she shows up late for work and hung over yet again, Dane lets her know that from now on her behavior will have consequences. It isn’t long before Amity puts Dane’s warning to the test, and she soon ends up over his knee for a long, hard, bare-bottom spanking. Worse still, when Dane learns the extent to which she has neglected her annual check-ups, Amity quickly finds herself receiving the most intimate, embarrassing exam of her life.

The Right Treatment, by Tara Finnegan
Things have changed quite a bit in the years since Aoife Devine last saw Matt McDaid, her childhood crush. Working as a doctor on the emergency ward has hardened him, and parties, alcohol, and one-night-stands have taken their toll on her. But when a bad batch of ecstasy sends Aoife to the hospital, she finds herself with no choice but to accept Matt’s help, even if that means obeying his rules. Matt proves fully prepared to back up his orders with a sound spanking, and Aoife soon learns that cooperating with his treatments is not optional, no matter how humiliating they may be for her.

Amy’s Strict Doctor, by Natasha Knight
When Amy’s husband, Dr. Cade Hollister, convinces her to take the last class she needs to finish her college degree, she has no idea what is in store for her. Amy has never challenged herself in the past, and when she fakes an illness to avoid the hard work required to pass the course, Cade decides it is time to teach her a much-needed lesson. Before she knows it, her strict husband is taking her temperature the old-fashioned way, and that is just the start. Cade soon demonstrates that he is more than ready to give his wife the discipline she needs, even if it leaves her cheeks blushing as red as her well-spanked bottom.

Her Old-Fashioned Doctor, by Sue Lyndon
After she catches her fiancé cheating on her, Melissa packs a suitcase and sets out on a road trip to give herself some time to recover. But things take an unexpected turn when she rear-ends Dr. John Holden’s truck in a tiny rural town and he responds by inviting her for an impromptu dinner date. The handsome medic’s charm and take-charge manner—not to mention his willingness to spank her bare bottom if he feels it necessary—all combine to set Melissa’s heart beating faster than it has in a long time. But is her rapidly growing crush on John merely a rebound fling, or can his hold on her heart last forever?

The Doctor’s Wife, by Casey McKay
Christina knew when she married Dr. Dan Connolly that it would be the best decision of her life, but as the years have passed and work and everyday concerns have piled up, their passion has begun to cool. But when Christina becomes so busy and stressed that she stops eating properly, Dan realizes he must step in to ensure that his wife starts taking care of herself again. Dan makes it clear that things need to change, and Christina soon learns that defying the man who is both her doctor and her head of household will earn her a trip over his knee for a bare-bottom spanking.

Commander's Slave by Sue Lyndon

I have Sue Lyndon visiting today, talking about her new book Commander's Slave. She leaves us hanging in her excerpt, guess you'll all just have to buy her book :)

Sue:
I might sound a little crazy when I say this, but I truly hope that the human race makes contact with an intelligent alien species within my lifetime. Seriously, I’d die with a grin on my face if something so awesome happened while I was around to witness it. Imagine it unfolding in the news. Imagine huddling around the television and staring at the screen in wonder, knowing that you were watching one of the greatest, most important events in history happen before your eyes.

In my new science fiction erotic romance, Commander’s Slave, the year is 2070 and Earth has been in contact with dozens of aliens species for the last fifty years. One of those alien species, the Kall, have just conquered Earth and decreed in a “peace treaty” that a series of arranged marriages must take place between humans and Kall. In Commander’s Slave, First Daughter Betsy Carson runs off in hopes of escaping such an arranged marriage, and as a result she’s charged with crimes she didn’t commit and sold as a slave on the Kall homeworld.

Excerpt:

The day of the auction had arrived.
The midday sun beat down on Betsy’s arms and breasts. Dizzy and drenched in sweat, she licked her dry lips and pressed a manacled hand to her empty stomach, too hungry and hot to care anymore about her nakedness. The weight of the iron bands dug into her wrists. Her head dropped and she swayed, but she was jostled into wakefulness as the line of condemned slaves ahead of her moved forward, all of them naked with their wrists bound. Tracking devices had been implanted in all the humans as they exited the Merrina, vanquishing her dreams of escape. She was the last in line and had stood in the sweltering heat for hours in the middle of the alien town. Her ears rang with the shouts of the crowd, the huge Kall men waving bags filled with rattling coins.
For a race so technologically advanced, they were quite primitive. Even on the battlefield, they preferred primitive methods. They used their technology to disable all human weapons—from guns to ground weapons to air defense—and then swooped down in their ships with swords drawn and axes swinging. She recalled a video she’d seen on the Internet from the first few minutes of their invasion, with American soldiers attempting to shoot at an advancing army of Kall only to discover their artillery wouldn’t fire. The Kall then hacked them to pieces with their primitive yet deadly weapons. It wasn’t long before world leaders, including her father, began discussing a surrender.
The line moved again and she stepped forward, staring at the back of the human man in front of her. About a dozen people remained ahead of her, waiting to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. She dared a glance at the crowd and shuddered when a large Kall with long black hair made a crude face at her, wagging his tongue in what could only be considered a sexual advance. Her eyes widened when he held up a money bag and pointed at her.
Ice filled her veins as she stared at the awful man. She shook her head, trying to recover from her shock, trying not to feel disgust as his gaze moved over her naked flesh. She shot him a hateful look before returning her attention to the line.
A woman with long brown hair tangled in knots stepped up on the auction block, and the auctioneer danced and hollered on the podium as the bidding commenced. Two distinctive voices rose from the crowd, two Kall men caught in a bidding war that lasted several minutes. Betsy shut her eyes as another wave of nausea swept over her, and she held her breath and prayed she didn’t become ill. She’d need her strength.
The next four auctions passed quickly, all men. Her stomach lurched when the man in front of her wobbled up to the block, his hands shaking as he climbed the stone steps. Sweat trickled down his bony, bent back. The auctioneer pointed to the sickly man as foreign words tumbled from his mouth, until finally the crowd offered a handful of bids. The auction lasted less than a minute.
She watched wide-eyed as the crowd parted and the winning bidder appeared to grab his slave by the arm, leading him off to his new life.
She was next.

Blurb:

Only the fiercest alien warrior can tame her human heart…

After the destruction of the peace treaty between Earth and the invading Kall, First Daughter of the United States Betsy Carson is convicted for crimes she did not commit in an act of political revenge. Sentenced to a lifetime of slavery on the Kall homeworld, she expects the rest of her days to be a constant struggle for survival, and when she finds herself naked on the auction block, staring into the eyes of a disgusting Kall who’s made the opening bid, she prays for anything but the misery and despair of being his. Fortunately, he’s outbid by a gentle, older man, who brings her to his mountain home as a gift for his brother, a fierce Kall warrior who loathes humans and blames them for the deaths of his wife and sons in the war with Earth. Her hopes to be left alone by her new master are dashed when he orders her to sleep in his bed, and she soon discovers disobedience will earn her a firm, bare-bottom spanking from the strong warrior.

Commander Edek enjoys disciplining the spirited Betsy, who grows more eager to submit to his dominance and obey his demands. And he finds owning a petite human slave has other benefits as well. Her silken red hair, sparkling blue eyes, and soft curves entice him to forget the past, and her sweet presence calms the storm of grief raging in his heart. But his new world is shattered when he arrives home one day to find her missing, and Edek’s skills as a Kall warrior are put to the ultimate test…
