Untagged! An Un-Bitching Post

Has anyone been following my Adult Tagging saga with Amazon? Yeah, I didn't think so. But here is your update anyway.

I finally got untagged!! I am now searchable and hopefully will show up in also- boughts again.

Here is the long story short. I emailed and each time got an email back saying I would have the tag removed within 24 hours, this happened four times.

I waited a few days and then went into my KDP account and found this 'contact us' form and filled that out. Figured I wasn't getting anywhere with the people answering the email address so I would try this other tactic. Well, one of the same people who had been responding from the email address responded to my feedback form and said she looked into it and it was some sort of technical problem on their end.

I just feel like I can be really quick to bitch when things aren't going my way and I vented and shook my fist at Amazon. But to be fair, I am posting to say that it may have taken a few days but it looks like the problem is fixed. I am back on track!

And if you are just tuning in and do not know what I am talking about then here is the link to the book that got tagged: A Taste of Discipline

This is what it's about:

Sam is a classically trained chef. She runs her kitchen like a well-oiled machine, and steam rolls anyone who gets in the way of that. She likes to be in control and has a hard time adjusting when she can't be.

Ryan is her husband and partner. As the manager of the restaurant they own, he tries to ensure that his wife is not over working herself and not blowing up at their employees.

They're trying to find a balance in life, love, and cooking. It just might take a little discipline.

This book includes themes of domestic discipline, spankings, graphic sex, anal play, and more. If any of this subject matter offends you, please do not purchase this book.

  2. So persistence pays off. Congrats! Did you ever figure out WHY they tagged you in the first place? And what did you do to change their mind?

  3. I don't think you were too quick to vent. Amazon can be idiots and often are. To take days to settle a technical issue is just not good enough. It's not as though they don't do telly after all. I'm glad it's sorted for you now and the book looks yummy.

  5. Thanks Kate!

Normandie- I think my warning on my blurb initially got it tagged. I had included anal punishments as well as anal play. SO I took that line out. Then when I emailed them that first time they said because I had chosen the sub-category 'erotica' it was staying tagged. So I changed it to romance with different sub-categories and that's when I kept getting emails back that I was approved and they would untag me, but it never happened!

Ashe- You sound like my husband! I am just going with I am a small fish in a big pond, it's a 99 sent short story and I was just grateful they were responding to emails. Is it ridiculous it took so long for a tech glitch? Yes! But they could have just ignored me.
